a deadstick Airbus 330 to Lajes airport in Terceira, Azores
on August 24th 2001.During what seemed to be a routine flight
from Toronto, Canada to Lisboa, Portugal, the crew experienced
a massive fuel leak over the ocean, bringing the powerless
Airbus, with 291 passengers and 13 crew members on board,
to glide for 18 minutes prior the emergency landing.
Since, Captain Piché is one of the most popular
speaker in Canada.
